Namibia is generally divided into four geographic regions; the Namib desert [with over 80 million years, the oldest desert in the world] and the Skeleton Coast stretching along the Atlantic seaboard, the central high plateu, the Kalahari Desert to the South East and the Bushveld of the Okavango; and the Caprivi in the Northern parts.
The Namib Desert has a typical desert climate. Namibia sees over 300 sunny days per year, although the coastal board can be quite foggy. Temperatures in the Coastal High plateu are usually higher than those regions closer to the sea level. Namibia has its wet season in summer, starting slowly in October and become heavier in the 1st quarter of the year.
